You can import a Mach3 config straight into the LinuxCNC Stepconf wizard. I am not sure what Mach3 screens offer that the various LinuxCNC GUIs do not. (Because I have never used Mach3). Axis is not the only interface, we have Gscreen (designed to be customised) Gmoccapy (which started as a Gscreen customisation), Touchy, a plain but effective dedicated touchscreen GUI, tklinuxcnc for machines with no real graphics and Hazzy is looking good too. -- atp "A motorcycle is a bicycle with a pandemonium attachment and is designed for the especial use of mechanical geniuses, daredevils and lunatics." — George Fitch, Atlanta Constitution Newspaper, 1916 ------------------------------------------------------------------------------ Check out the vibrant tech community on one of the world's most engaging tech sites, Slashdot.org! http://sdm.link/slashdot _______________________________________________ Emc-users mailing list [email protected] https://lists.sourceforge.net/lists/listinfo/emc-users
