Xilinx Foundation definitely had schematic entry, and a massive library of 74xx and generic parts (FF, gate, mux, etc.). Most of this was still available in ise, and I have a few tiny CPLD projects that used that. One was an 8-bit bidirectional buffer with a few gates to control the buffer, another was an 8-bit shift register and some 8-input gates. These were really easy to express in schematic form. It converted these to structural (as opposed to behavioral) VHDL.

This has been dropped from vivado.
