Dry ice is cold enough it could cause warping, or just throw the dimensions off when it comes back to room temperature. I use a water-based coolant, and when things get hot, the coolant definitely sizzles around the chips. That proves it is working. But, it keeps the work pretty close to room temperature. It definitely helps!
