I just down;oaded it again and did a diff on the one I had and the one I
just downloaded, they are the same
(the size if the same too).

-rw-rw-r-- 1 rocr rocr 1212776448 May 23 2019 linuxcnc-2.7.14-wheezy.iso
(looks like I had it for a good while).
A while back I also downloaded these:
-rw-rw-r-- 1 rocr rocr 1339883520 Oct 27 2018
linuxcnc-stretch-uspace-amd64.iso
-rw-rw-r-- 1 rocr rocr 1339883520 Oct 27 2018
linuxcnc-stretch-uspace-amd64-r13.iso
I'll try to install it again tomorrow.
I read earlier to use the txt install instead of the gui, because one
can omit connecting to that repo, but when I do that, the installer asks
for an additional disk that I don't have. (It wants a disk instead of
connecting to that repo).
If I get a chance to install it tomorrow, I'll msg here what happens.
thanks,
Ron
I downloaded it from here:

That was a couple of weeks ago, mayb even 2 months.
The Wheezy ISO was updated to reference the archive repository on the
24th
of May. It sounds like your download was comfortably after that.
So that seems to indicate that the repository fix did not work. Which is
odd, as (and others) tested it.
I downloaded and installed ten days ago. The install went without
hitch.
