I somewhat understand writing a Python program that reads/writes HAL pins and starting it with halcmd loadusr. Is it possible to start a Python program from a terminal window and access HAL pins without using halcmd? If yes, what is the magic incantation? I ask because PathPilot does not appear to include halcmd.
