I see Fusion360 can run 'under linux', that is it can run in a VM. https://all3dp.com/2/fusion-360-for-linux-how-to-install-it/ but what did you download? What I see on the website are a rented by year 495$ package an educator / student package and a 30 day trial package. I am neither a teacher or a student. My needs are hobbyist and 2 or 2 1/2D milling.
