If you like Sphinx, you should definitely have a look at ReadTheDocs <https://readthedocs.org/>. Basically, it's a platform for hosting documentation from Sphinx source files. The source of the documentation stays on GitHub and documentation is regenerated on commit hooks. It's quite popular in the Python community, though there's nothing specific to the language.
Of course, there's an export feature for PDF and ePub. Also, the default themes are nice enough to start with.
