One of the problems I would like the documentation revamp to solve is
the need to provide references like the above. We want to be able to
provide a URL that when clicked takes you straight to the relevant
document (and even section) rather than being told to look at the
source. See my earlier message about doxygen-like tools for a way to
accomplish this and have the full documentation in the source, without
duplication.

I think we should make a list of the problems to be solved before
choosing technology.
