We have received your questions, and I would like just to give some
basic information on things that are happening in Croatia. In
Bratislava, at a UNIFEM strategic planning workshop, 6 women from 6
countries (Bulgaria, Croatia, Check Republic, Moldova, Slovakia)
suggested that we should have a regional campaign addressing men and
getting them actively involved in 16 Days of Activism. We thought that
it is the right time to start motivating them to engage themselves in
ending violence against women. In Croatia only women initiate all
activities dealing with violence. There was no White Ribbon campaign. We
want men to say in public that they are against violence, and that they
start working with violators. Women will save their energy and resources
and continue working with women survivors of violence.

If you are interested, I can send you our Power point presentation with
a summary of our campaign plan.

Best regards,
Sanja
