I agree with you in part, but am concerned about the way the ethic of "non-interference" perpetuates oppression. Women, like others who are oppressed, internalize the opinions of those in power and so think they are unworthy of anything better...simply because they are female. I'm sure you know that. We have to teach people about human rights as a basic right of all human beings, including women and girls. And we have to teach people about the reality of internalized oppression.
