JFYI:

p≡p for Thunderbird, in turn, will become available by tomorrow, August
31st, and work--as Patrick already said--with TB68 and TB78.

It'll not use GnuPG anymore or RNP as OpenPGP backend as shipped by
Mozilla Thunderbird, but Sequoia PGP, our own implementation; written in
Rust: https://sequoia-pgp.org/

An audit of the p≡p engine core and also Sequoia is being conducted.
