Formalising can be a good thing, I think. We could even try to change
our workflow and start using git. What do you think?

Andres (dresb) already did a major writing/rewriting/reorganization on
the wiki. It's a good starting point..

When I first saw the gold bling it was awesome! :-) But after some
time it became annoying, I have to say.
