        Look, I personally think it's great that you've done all
this - it's a great exercise and a cool and useful feature, and
you should be free to choose to do it in whatever way you deem
best. :)
        But I hope you realize that it's just not a reasonable
solution to the general issue of "dealing with xml in e" - and
that's what we're pointing to here. Indeed, I believe that's why
someone(s) wrote libxml2 in the first place (perhaps someone much
like you), to address such an issue for the benefit of others.
