I'm not so much worried about setting the linux distro up and updating 
it but more about someone who will go and check if everything is fine 
and have a first look when stuff breaks for their setup.

That does not mean he should fix all issues but do the first analysis 
and point people in the right direction. That would basically be someone 
who has a particulary interest in this setup. My guess would be as he 
uses it at home or work.

I think about something like the Redhat Enterprise Server person or the 
Ubuntu LTS person or the FreeBSD or OpenBSD persons. Setup a vm that we 
can link into our build farm and have an eye on. If stuffs breaks check 
out what might be the problem first. If you fail to find a solution 
report it to the ml and pester people about it. :)
