I only like to tell you that I experience the same problem on my Ubuntu
10.04 system. It's really annoying and I see it around once in two
days. My idea was about an X bug, but if people think it's a kernel
problem it's also logic. I didn't report it, because I didn't expect an
E bug.
But I found out that if I have a terminal open and it has focus I could
exec "enlightenment_remote -restart" and it works again without killing
X. Maybe also a restart keybinding could work. But I didn't try it.
