I just got Entourage, and ran a test import (from OE) on a secondary
machine. I noticed the newsgroups didn't make it. The servers (accounts)
did, but none of the subscribed newsgroups nor previously read messages.
That's a real bummer; lots of what I have are likely expired at the server,
and I flag many messages for later recall. So two questions
-Is this (the non-import of newsgroups) standard import behavior?
-Is there a workaround or reasonable method of importing messages (including
their read/flag status)?
I will have to say I was surprised the programs didn't share data formats,
since (for email) they're obviously so similar.
One last general question: Is there any reason NOT to upgrade? I'm just an
email/news user; I use Now Contact/UTD on a network and I have no thought of
switching. Just curious of any major bugs or features present in OE that
are lost in Entourage.
