But it's actually running on an entirely new nanokernel and a completely native process manager... And both Apple Remote Access and Open Transport have some important changes (OT longer uses ASLM and its interrupt time behavior has been subtly altered). I'd call it a pretty sweet substitution in that hardly any users have noticed the fairly major transformations (while complaining quite a lot about the renamed folders...). Of course, a last minute MacOS 9.1 change is causing me to rewrite parts of a product.
