I whole-heartedly agree. I don't mind paying 'reasonable' costs to get products 
into the country. However I find it insulting that Micro$oft Australia will 
not be offering the reduced upgrade pricing, $A not withstanding.

Their local web site is pitiful (when it comes to Mac stuff) and their call 
takers are worse, oh and don't forget it also takes six months or more for 
them to finally get products into the country. You really know you live on 
the largest 'island' on earth when you have to deal with M$.

I, too, wish I could order directly from the US. Hell, it's times like this 
that I wish I lived in the US ;-)
