You can trust the Junk Filter to get it right, if you dare, and delete any mail whose status is Junk (as defined by the filter), plus add separate criteria for senders you want to add. How would it know if you meant "all mail from this email address" , or "all mail with this subject" or "all mail from this domain" or "well, something like this"? The virtue of the Rules is that they make define precisely what the criteria are, so you can't blame the filter for getting it wrong (and maybe suing Microsoft yourself if you deleted something you wouldn't have really wanted to delete). Just use the Rules.
