I'm afraid that for me, it opens automatically when it's running my Send & Receive All schedule. I'm not much of a News group user, so it's not that. But if I close it, it just pops up again while checking mail, then closes again.
Of course, if I'm IN Entourage, it opens in the background and I don't see it. If I'm in something else and happen to have the main Entourage window minimized (admittedly I don't do this most of the time) the Progress window will suddenly materialize until the mail check is complete, then vanish again. ??? -Bill Cameron > > Just close it.
