This may be somewhat OT but I think it is related.
I use a PowerBase 180 (603e clone) and run MacOS9.1 and Office 2001 for Mac,
in particular Entourage, Word and Excel of which the first two are mainly
involved.
I type a lot in Hungarian. I can use the CE group of fonts except for Times
CE, which does not support two of the letters. I am using the Hungarian
keyboard set up and have "fixed up" my keyboard accordingly. My question is
two-pronged: My default for the fonts is Times and the keyboard is
Australian. From practical considerations I would prefer the fonts to
default to one of the CE group of fonts and the keyboard to default to
Hungarian since I can type in English on a Hungarian keyboard than the other
way round. Is there a convenient way, short of acquiring a Hungarian MacOS,
to default to Hungarian?
I also note that "extended Roman (U)", which I take is Unicode, is greyed
out. Since I sometimes need other languages such as Romanian how do I set it
up?
I would appreciate some help from the experts. At present and for the
foreseeable future I am not in a position to upgrade either my hardware or
my software.
