Not sure (neither is the IT geek since all she has to do in Outlook is put the server CNAME in one field - heaven forbid she should have to really know something about what she's doing). At any rate, I tried it with authentication, without authentication, and all varieties in between on the account's smtp settings screen. Maybe I missed something somewhere else in Entourage?
