I hear people say that Mac OS X is less stable, but for me it much more
stable.

Given my experience in the past in designing hardware and dealing with
hardware and RAM issues, I would tend to suspect that the people who find
Mac OS X "unstable" in comparison with Mac OS 9 should double-check their
RAM. Mac OS 9 doesn't push the hardware as hard as Mac OS X, and so RAM
that is questionable may work perfectly with Mac OS 9, but not work
correctly with Mac OS X.
