I don't treat questions as stupid, Linda. Ever. Once in a while I may get a
bit aggravated by questions I may have answered many times before, but not
usually on this list since there are lots of other people who can answer
those questions so I just let them pass. What got my goat was that Gordon
was presuming to insult the people who went to all the trouble to improve
Office X _instead of_ asking a question, such as "Have those poor address
book and mail merge features in Word 2001 been improved at all in Office X?"
I would answered that question quite without any rancour, especially since
the answer is so pleasant.

I'm sorry for upsetting everyone by my tone.
