Dear Listmembers, I hope someboby can help: G4 800 MHz tower; 250MB RAM; 60 GB HD; MacOS X.1.5; Office X.1. I tried to install MacOffice X SR1. As soon as I open the installer it ?unexpectedly quits? quite repeatably. I tried installing Explorer 5.2.1. The installer opens, asks for my password, ?authenticates? and quits. I tried installing FAXStf update. It uses a Vyse installer, possibly the others do as well, since the installer opens, asks for my password, ?authenticates? and quits. Today I tried to open Word X. It ?quits unexpectedly? as soon as it finishes loading. I ran Disk FirstAid a couple of days ago and it ?repaired the HD? without indicating what the problem was. I still set up Classic since at present that is my only means of doing any word processing. Is there a way of setting up Entourage so that it will dial in automatically a set number of times per day WITHOUTit also dialing in randomly when I am reading messages. It is getting quite costly and I am finding it simler and probably cheaper to just keep the line open. However then my phone line is out of action. I would also like to import my mail and address book from Apple's Mail program to Entourage.
