The MBU's record on this issue (OE Mac and Entourage) is perfect. They
_never_, _ever_ violate RFC protocols. they are religious about following
them - perhaps _because_ other areas of MS on the Windows side have violated
the. You can expect greater compliance in IE Mac as well, since the MBU has
recently taken it over more completely.

However, Allen is not correct in that surmise. The Entourage team (Dan) has
acknowledged that format=flowed observes standards, several times. There is
no debate over that. And Entourage _reads_ ff fine. There just didn't seem
to be enough importance to it to warrant implementing _sending_ ff. On the
Mac, only Eudora had it. Now Mail does too. But Mail can't send HTML. We
can. Just send HTML when it matters to have soft-wrapping. All modern email
apps (including mail) can read HTML. Nobody much is on Emailer or Outlook 95
any longer.

PLEASE always state which version of Entourage you are using - 2001 or X.
It's often impossible to answer your questions otherwise.
