Sometimes HTML will suffice; sometimes it will NOT, which is why I still keep a free copy of Eudora on my machine! Actually, now that you've told me Mail can do format=flowed, I will use that instead of Eudora when I need it. And although HTML may suffice for some purposes, it is always more wasteful of bandwidth and disk space than plain text. I'm a plain text junky, Paul; sorry. > All modern email > apps (including mail) can read HTML. Nobody much is on Emailer or Outlook 95 > any longer. There is a bit of a "Let them eat cake!" attitude about that, Paul. Just because you and I are on the bleeding edge, not everyone is. I've run into a number of people still using Emailer recently. I know a good number who have old PCs using Windows 95. I think HTML should be avoided in email unless absolutely necessary, and I will continue to lobby for format=flowed into order to give me another way to avoid using HTML. -- Microsoft MVP for Entourage/OE/Word (MVPs are volunteers) Allen Watson <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> Entourage FAQ site: <http://www.entourage.mvps.org/> AppleScripts for Outlook Express and Entourage: <http:[EMAIL PROTECTED]/Scripts/> Entourage Help Pages: <http://www.entourage.mvps.org/> -- To unsubscribe: <mailto:[EMAIL PROTECTED]> archives: <http://www.mail-archive.com/entourage-talk%40lists.letterrip.com/> old-archive: <http://www.mail-archive.com/entourage-talk%40lists.boingo.com/>
