This action is in line with one of the RFCs (I forget which one, and could look it up but I don't have the time right now). Most SMTP servers identify the beginning of a message in an SMTP stream by looking for the word 'From' at the beginning of a line. Not 'escaping' an additional line beginning with from would cause the message to be broken off at that point. -- Barry -- To unsubscribe: <mailto:[EMAIL PROTECTED]> archives: <http://www.mail-archive.com/entourage-talk%40lists.letterrip.com/> old-archive: <http://www.mail-archive.com/entourage-talk%40lists.boingo.com/>
