The MBOX files in question were composed of folders of newsgroup messages. Could that have made the difference? Or could it happen during transmission? I *am* in Entourage 2001. Before sending this post, I dragged a folder to my desktop and then back into Entourage. The attachments remained attached. So you're right about that. I'd sure like to know what made the difference with the above scenario though.
