I have to agree with the general tenor of the complaint, though. If two Office apps help a user develop the habit of using Cmd-Delete to delete previous word, having Entourage delete the entire message with that keystroke is just asking for trouble. As I've said, at the very least, Entourage should force a warning in this case (regardless of the preference setting...I know, you'd get demands that you should not override the pref, but in this case, I'd side with being Big Brother). Better, you need to change this keyboard shortcut to be like Word and delete the previous word when in edit mode.
