I think you would find the 1D to be a satisfying upgrade. If you produce large prints you won't have the resolution of the D60 but it's a hell of a camera. Many 1D users who prefer to shoot JPG are not finding the MK II's sharpness to be equal to the 1D. I shoot RAW and post process everything and the MK II is a dream.
