Maths (beyond my practice) does consider different sizes of infinity - to me it's never been more than something handy to be cancelled out in equations and a bugger if any are left over - normalisation, re- normalisation and so on. Solutions to infinite regresses were proposed - don't know if they worked, but do remember I failed completely trying to work with them in knowledge justification. Economic systems throw up at lot of externalities - stuff excluded to make the sums work - usually at the expense of indigenous settlers etc. This is more like hiding horse dung or bodies under the carpet. I don't link any of these guesses in physics to god-search Socratus - the hologenome of biology helps define what a human being is (potentially questioning 'I' and certainly individualism) - but I still see no god search, though some feeling of presence of a collective wider than we normally think. Scientists don't reject god as scientists - just god thinking in trying to work out their systems. I would seek a fellowship in which god was unspoken (no need).
