Hi Larry: A few years back I thought the very same thing. I MUST have rudder pedals. I was unable to find a Coupe with pedals and went ahead with the purchase. For about the first 5 or 6 landings my feet would actually tingle and I had to cross them and put them on the passenger side of the plane. <G> After that initial learning curve, I no longer worry that much about whether or not I have pedals. The Univair pedal kit takes up leg room, the control cables lie on top of the floor boards, and the control wheel still controls nose wheel steering. Not a good arrangement in my opinion. Others will probably disagree with me. <G> Take a ride in your Coupe to be and shoot a few landings preferably in a cross wind. Do get a thorough pre buy by someone who knows the Coupe. Good luck Paul NC2273H ========================================================================== ==== To leave this forum go to: http://ercoupers.com/lists.htm Search the archives on http://escribe.com/aviation/coupers/
