The rudder pedal kits that steer the nosewheel with the pedals are the
later
Alon kits.  The ERCO and Forney kits steer the nosewheel with the yoke.

You've got a carpeted tunnel, huh?  Well, that's probably why I never saw
the cables on Coupe floors.  I think most people have covered the tunnel
with carpet.  My Alon pedal kit cables were under the floor boards and I
just assumed the ERCO kits did the same thing.

As far as I know, there's no way to convert the ERCO or Forney pedal kit
to
steer the nosewheel with the pedals.  I don't think it's a particular
advantage, anyway, but that's just agreement with papa Fred.
