Hi Scott: What happened to the spinner when it came loose? Was it thrown outward due to centrifugal force? Any damage? Were you aware that it had departed? I had a screw vibrate out of the top front of my cowl. I was amazed since it just rattled around on top of my cowl in front of the windshield for a while then fell over the side. There must be a real low pressure area there. I was on downwind and had to keep telling myself--"fly the airplane dummy forget about the screw" <G> Cheers: Paul NC2273H
