Daily is typical Chicago politician. I have lived in the area all my life. He follows a proud family tradition of doing things in the middle of the night. With his puppet regime in Springfield, I have little hope that Meigs will survive. I am sure he'll be putting holes in all the boats next to un-clutter his view. BTW, you can't vote straight ticket anymore. He had the law changed years ago to prevent you from doing so. I think the best bet would be to raise a stink with the many businesses in Chicago. I am sure Boeing is glad they moved here last year. He claims it's for security. If he thinks Chicago is any safer with his LOOP DMZ and no Meigs, he is nuts. It takes a 747 7 minutes to get from O'Hare to the loop. From Midway, it takes 5. They do it all day long as the come and go over the lake. If he was truly concerned, he should have closed both of them too or asked to the National Guard to base planes on 24 hour alert at Meigs.
