I took off from the office on the edge of 5 pm and made my way dangerously through traffic to the airport, getting there on fumes and almmost dark enough to step in something. Unfortunately I could not get the hangar door open, it had come off the rail;ls and was firmly stuck shut.
I was quite disapissed... dissapiss... pissed off as I had been planning on celebrating the anniversary by flyiying around over the city which was very lit up. The night was calm and clear. But the doors were stuck. So I drove home and made up my mind I would celebrate it on Saturday, even if I have to rip the doors off with my truck and a chain...
