Off hand, Darick, I'd say it was added.  The serial number of the 415-C I had was later than yours and I did not have it.

Subject: [COUPERS-FLYIN] FW: Throttle quadrant

----[Please read http://ercoupers.com/disclaimer.htm before following any advice in this forum.]----

To All,
My 1946 415c, S/N 1462, has a throttle quadrant control on the instrument panel which I'm questioning as the original design or if it was added from a later model?  There is an obvious place for mixture control, but it is located below the temp. gage on the left side of the left control yoke.   Does anyone know?
Thanks
Darick
