OK, first off, this is Bills field of expertise, not mine, but...

I thought I heard that the CD models were D's that weren't selling due to the poor loaning characteristics and were converted back to C rigging in order that they could be sold to make way for the new, improved "E" model coming. Otherwise, what would be the rational for converting a "C" to "CD" trim? Seems like more expense for no more performance.
