Agreed. I didn't want to put labor-intensive work on you. I just tried to find 
a reasonable and clean solution to my problem.

I would like to run Apache couchdb from within Eclipse w/o requiring my users 
to install Erlang or CouchDB before. The whole discussion I had so far with 
guys from CouchDB is in this thread:

One solution could be to provide a complete bundle containing CouchDB + Erlang 
per platform - which is not my preferred solution since I would like to 
decouple things if possible. However, it looks like it could work and CouchDB 
seems to have resources to provide and maintain bundles for several platforms. 
I will give it a try to see whether it could work.
