I think the idea is very interesting.
The blueprint made of an objects flowchart won't be easy to get right. I
mean that if you have not just few objects but rather 10, 20 or even
more, keeping a clean visual representation and the interaction simple
enough is an interesting challenge.
Yes it will. I do, however, have relatively complete idea of how this
will work. Unfortunately I don't think I could describe it well without
illustration. ):
As soon as I've got a couple of diagrams I'll put together a description
of how it might work and place it on my website

(I'll make this a priority) After that hopefully I'll get some
comments/criticisms from the list.
Perhaps you can look at similar attempts done in the past. I don't
remember the names right now.
The only other app like it I've ever heard of is Apple's Automator
(which, except for very basic tasks, isn't all that great). I haven't
actuly looked for any though. If you know of any others (past or
present) I'd be very interested. It would also be very helpful.
Also I would be really interested to have this project as part of
Étoilé. It would be cool to have someone working on scripting features.
Cool! I really like the Etoile project, and where it is going and will
very much enjoy helping it go further!
It also looks as though I will become the maintainer of StepTalk
(paperwork is being sent to me as we speak).
