lsmod shows the modules loaded but it's not what I saw Neil use.
I recompiled sound drivers into the kernel per Jami so lsmod
won't show them now. But still no joy.
Before you start on Debian, I've got the same problem with a
Debian box and Crystal sound. I'll get back to you when I'm
ready to tackle that one.

lsmod should be the command. lists modules that are loaded.
