It's only about 5 degrees cooler in Sierra Vista than it is in Tucson. 
 My pack has survived two summers with me and two summers in Phoenix 
(which is hotter than Tucson) with the previous owner.  It is however 
starting to show it's age.

Of course it might depend on where the batteries are mounted.  Mine are 
mounted underneath (out of direct sun) with good ventilation.  I try to 
keep the pack temperature between 90 and 100 degrees F,  though it has 
gotten up to 110 a few times when I've had to drive and charge several 
times in the same day.

The batteries perform better in the heat and don't sag as much.  I 
wonder if the lower amp draws, because of the warmer temps, offset the 
increased grid corrosion?
