They have not replaced any parts, that is not what salvage car sellers do.
What they *do* do is to take the scrap that was supplied with the vehicle
(see the pics in the first auction and on the crash site) and try to
re-attach those to the car.
Apparently they have been successful in getting the suspension of the
wheel somehow attached to the (bent?) frame again (welding, probably)
so now the car is again standing on 4 wheels, but nothing worth of a
6k increase in price....
They have been desperate enough to contact me every day about this vehicle
and they confirmed that they have not done any alignment, only attaching
the ripped-off wheel again.

For 6k I have had another Salvage car completely restored to pristine
state by a body shop, including parts and painting. No alignment was
necessary on that car, but they had to hammer out part of the frame rails
to make the front straight again...

It looks to me like some salvage company bought the car from the insurance
company and has been trying to sell the carcass while also working on it
part time.  As they get more parts replaced, they are raising the price.  I
wonder if they realize the issues they may still be facing in the battery
pack area.
