Sorry, but it is that clear. Many electronic devices can accept 120/240 vac
with no problem, they are called universal voltage devices... Look at all
the PFC chargers at http://manzanitamicro.com/, they all accept 100 to
250vac, no switching needed.

If you look at the link
http://evseupgrade.com/?main_page=product_info&products_id=13 for the 120v
adapter, all it shows is an adapter cord for the plug, nothing about
switching or transformers.
