Yes, Ternary chemistries DO NOT like to sit at high SoC long. This is
what causes your phone and laptop to start showing marked degradation after
a few years. Best advice is to only charge to 80% daily unless you know
you'll need the full capacity, and try to plan it so the pack doesn't sit
long aster charge before you depart. I charge my EV to 65-70%, as I work
from home, so it sits a lot. I do go on long trips a few times a year, and
I take that opportunity to plan a 100% charge with time for balancing and
to keep the SoC tracking accurate. I usually charge to 90% overnight,
then start it when I wake up for the last 10% while I'm getting ready.

Also, many laptops and phones are finally now supporting some form of
charge limiting. I have a Framework laptop and I have that set for 65%
unless I'm about to travel, and my phone is 75%. you will find that the
battery outlives the phone/laptop if you treat them well like this.
