Neither am I an expert, most of the active people on this list know much more than I.

I'm also wondering what kind of batteries or cells you purchased. Did you buy 12V automotive lithum batteries, meant to be a 1 to 1 replacement for lead-acid ? If so, I believe they come with a built in battery management system (BMS). Assuming so...

However, and others can correct me here, connecting them in serial to give you higher voltage could be problematic. If one battery begins to fail sooner than the others it may, for example, develop higher internal resistance. That means it will heat up more when the current from the rest of the string pushes through. I think that could be a fire risk or, at least, cause more rapid deterioration.

My guess is the right way would be to connect them in parallel and then use an inverter to convert the output to the voltage you need.

Also my cells were shipped dry. What do I used to fill the cells?

Are you sure that's what you have?

I admit I'm far from a lithium expert, but I've never heard of or seen "dry
charged" lithium cell, or cells with any kind of electrolyte access at all.
The ones I've been introduced to have been sealed.

You might want to snap a picture of your cells, especially any labeling on
them, and post it somewhere publicly readable without a login. Then post
the link here.

I've used postimages.org for years, but lately they seem to have gotten
kinda naggy about signing up for their rather expensive memberships.
