The most common meaning of the word computationalism is that consciousness
is the result of a *computation*... that the arrangement of matter of your
brain is isomorphic to a computation is the claim of computationalism...
materialism does not claim that... materialism does not say anything about
computation... it is compatible with the mind being some sort of
computation or not being a computation at all (like being some sort of
hypercomputation/supertask or anything non computable)... Do you deny it ?
