1. Have you verified that NIC and switch ports are set to 100/full? This can make a huge difference; auto/auto results in much slower transfers. 2. Is your move mailbox work going on at the same time as the backup? It's not clear from your post. 3. What antivirus platform are you running and is it scanning the files as they are moving?
