The first thing I'd do is see if that user can logon to his Outlook profile from a different machine. If he can, then my suspicion would be that his machine is not properly resolving the server name. To test that, ping the server by IP and then by name. If it replies by IP and not by name, you have either a WINS or a DNS issue on that machine, probably a misconfigured WINS server address.
If he can't log on to his Outlook profile from a different machine, but CAN log onto his OWA on any machine, then there's something wrong with the Outlook profile setup or the way he's logging onto the network. I wouldn't be entirely shocked to find out he's mistyping his logon domain. _________________________________________________________________ List posting FAQ: http://www.swinc.com/resource/exch_faq.htm Web Interface: http://intm-dl.sparklist.com/read/?forum=exchange To subscribe: http://e-newsletters.internet.com/discussionlists.html/ To unsubscribe send a blank email to [EMAIL PROTECTED] Exchange List admin: [EMAIL PROTECTED] To unsubscribe via postal mail, please contact us at: Jupitermedia Corp.
